The Divine Mission
Building Something That Cannot be Erased
A Very Divine Welcome.
If you’re reading this, I believe you were meant to find your way here.
There are no accidents—only appointments. And your presence today feels like one of them.
My name is Destiny Divine. I am an author of fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books.
I am a dreamer. I am a builder. And I am a Black woman in America who understands something deeply important:
What we don’t build ourselves, others can take away.
This website is many things. Let me share them with you.
A Place for My Stories
First and foremost, this is my author website.
Here you will find my books—the stories I’ve written under the name Destiny Divine.
You’ll discover character profiles and backstories that bring my fictional worlds to life. You’ll glimpse the heart behind the pages.
You can also purchase eBook copies of my books directly from me, here on this platform.
Yes, my books are available on every major national platform where books are sold.
But I wanted a place where readers could come directly to the source.
A place where the connection between author and reader is unmediated, unfiltered, and free from the algorithms and gatekeepers that decide who gets seen and who gets silenced.

A Gathering Place for Book Lovers
But this space is not just about me.
It is also a community—a gathering place for book lovers who believe in the power of stories.
Here we come together to discuss our love of books, to share recommendations, to celebrate the authors and characters who have changed our lives.
In Destiny’s “Divine” Book Club, we explore stories that capture both the imagination and the heart.
In the blog, Destiny’s Blog, I share my thoughts on reading, writing, and the beautiful mess of being human.
This is a space for connection. For conversation. For community.
A Private Vault—A Sacred Archive
But there is something more. Something that may be the most important reason this website exists.
This is my vault.
My archive. My sanctuary.
Here I preserve my writings, my thoughts, my creative work, and the conversations we share as a community.
I keep them here because I understand something that history has taught me again and again:
There are forces in this world that would erase us if they could.
We are living in a time of ongoing attempts to erase everything related to Black History, Black thought, Black innovation, Black creativity, and Black ingenuity.
Curriculums are being rewritten. Books are being banned. Stories are being silenced.
I refuse to let that happen to me. And I refuse to let that happen to us.

No Censorship. No Erasure. No Apologies.
This platform is mine. And because it is mine:
- No one can censor me here.
- No one can de-platform me here.
- No one can decide that my voice doesn’t matter.
- No one can algorithmically hide my stories from the people who need them.
Here, I speak freely. I write boldly. I exist unapologetically.
And I encourage you—especially if you are a Black American, especially if you are a creator, especially if you have stories to tell—to do the same.
Why This Matters Now
We have seen what happens when we build only on platforms we do not own.
Social media algorithms change overnight.
Accounts are suspended without explanation.
Content is removed for arbitrary reasons.
The rules shift, and our work—our blood, sweat, tears, and creativity—can disappear in an instant.
I love the concept of social media. It has connected me to readers I never could have reached otherwise. But I do not trust it to preserve my legacy.
That is why I built this.
Here, my words remain.
Here, our conversations remain.
Here, the stories we love and the thoughts we share remain—not at the mercy of a corporation’s bottom line, but held safely in a space we control together.
An Invitation to Build Your Own
I want to say something to you directly, especially if you are a creator, a thinker, a storyteller, or a dreamer:
Build your own platform.
It doesn’t have to be fancy. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be yours.
Start a blog. Build a website. Create a newsletter. Find a space that you control, where your voice cannot be silenced by anyone but you.
Yes, be on social media. Yes, sell on the big platforms. Yes, go where the people are.
But also build something that belongs to you. Something that cannot be taken away.
Something that will remain when the algorithms change and the trends fade.
The ancestors didn’t survive centuries of erasure for us to let our stories disappear because we never built anywhere to keep them.
What You’ll Find Here
So as you explore this site, know that you are entering more than just an author’s website. You are entering:
- A library of stories that uplift and inspire
- A community of readers who believe in the power of books
- A blog where thoughts are shared freely
- A vault where Black creativity is preserved, protected, and celebrated
- A platform built to last
A Final Word
I don’t know who needs to read this today. But I know someone does.
Maybe it’s you.
Maybe you’ve been feeling the walls closing in. Maybe you’ve watched beloved stories disappear from shelves. Maybe you’ve wondered if your voice even matters anymore.
It matters.
Your voice matters. Your stories matter. Your creativity matters. Your existence matters.
And here, on this small corner of the internet built by one woman with a dream, you are welcome. You are seen. You are safe.
Build your own platform, friend. And while you’re building, know that you always have a seat at this table.
With love, defiance, and unwavering hope,
Destiny Divine
